2nd quarter “Donetskstal” ended with a loss

In the 2nd quarter, the company reduced net income by 1.88%, or 72,322 million to 3 784,125 million compared with 2Q 2013.
January-June the plant finished with a loss of 1 775,06 million hryvnia, reducing net income by 9.31%, or 711,65 million to 6 933,94 million hryvnia compared to the same period last year.
As reported, Q1 Donetskstal ended with a loss of 1 575,66 million hryvnia, reducing net income of 16.87%, or 639,328 million to 3 149,815 million hryvnia compared with the 1st quarter of 2013.
2013 Donetskstal, according to preliminary data, finished with a net profit 79,005 million.

By order dated 11.01.2012 No. 9, the Cabinet has extended the List of waste and scrap of ferrous and nonferrous metals, transactions for the supply of which in particular the business of importing, temporarily, until 1 January 2014, be exempt from value added tax.
The List included 2 new names: the used (depleted) electric accumulators lead-acid, residues and scrap of electric accumulators with lead.
The decree will enter into force on 1 February 2012.
