In January-July 2012 Ukrainian scrap processing enterprises reduced the export of metal scrap compared to the same period last year by 14% to 354 thousand tons this was reported by a source in the Cabinet.
In July of this year, exports of scrap decreased in comparison with June, or 35.7%, to 38.2 million tonnes, as compared to the same period last year jumped 2.3 times.
For seven months of 2012 the import of scrap metal has fallen to the same period last year by 42%, to 51.2 thousand tons.
