Enterprise operations with scrap ferrous and nonferrous metals, and other secondary resources created the public Union Ukrainian Association of secondary metals and resources (Watermattress).
As have informed Agency Interfax-Ukraine, Deputy General Director of Euro-Metal invest Valery Katunin, July 18 this year, Watermattress registered in Single state register of legal entities, individuals-entrepreneurs and community groups.
According to him, the activities of the Association are non-profit to the tax authorities delivered the corresponding statement on the inclusion of Watermattress in the Register of nonprofit institutions and organizations.
The interlocutor of the Agency explained that the purpose of the new Association is to protect the interests of its members – enterprises of scrap collection industry, cooperation with Executive bodies in the direction of improving the legislative framework regarding the operations with scrap metal.
The Association will inform the public about problems in the field of harvesting, processing of scrap metal and ways to solve them, to deal with the protection of the legitimate rights of its members before state authorities, local authorities, other legal persons in the sphere of workpiece of metal scrap, as well as the organization and participation in exhibitions, seminars, meetings, conferences and other events on the issues of procurement and processing of scrap metal, said Vladimir Katunin.
President Watermattress Andrew andreychikov, the office of the Association is in Kiev.
The Association expressed a desire to take part about 100 companies from different regions of Ukraine. And pushed lomozagotovitelej to the creation of the Association Watermattress their vulnerability to the Executive authorities and the lack of a structure which is represented and actually protect their interests, said Vladimir Katunin.
Ukraine has also Ukrainian Association of secondary metals (Uavtormet) and the Ukrainian Association of exporters of scrap metal (of WEM).
