In January-November 2013, Russia reduced the volume of steel exports. The share of metals and products from them in the total cost volume of shipments to foreign countries amounted to 7.3% (previous year – 8.4 percent).
"The volume of exports of these products decreased in comparison with January-November 2012 was 9.1%. Deliveries of ferroalloys abroad fell by 10.7%, aluminum – by 1.9%, steel semi-finished products – by 12.6%, flat products – by 9.3%, copper – by 12.2%", according to the materials of the Federal customs service. The share of metals and products from them in the export to CIS countries amounted to 11 months of 10.8% (in January-November 2012 to 9.5%). The growth of shipments amounted to 15.4%. While the volumes of exports of ferrous metals and products from them increased by 15.7%.
