Exports from the Donetsk region in January-April 2014 compared to the same period in 2013 decreased by 19.8% and amounted to 3 billion 445,7 million dollars. This was reported by the press service of the main Department of statistics in Donetsk region.
According to the report, enterprises of the region exported products to 109 countries around the world. In the first place Italy, where the exported goods to 457,2 million. what more than in January-April 2013 3.3% and was 13.3% of the regional volume.
Export to the Russian Federation, which until 2014 was the largest foreign trade partner, declined in January-April 2014 compared with January-April 2013 in 2 times and amounted to 447 mln USD. or 13% of all exports (second place).
Third place went to Turkey, shipments to the country increased by 3.8% and amounted to 354,3 million dollars. or 10.3%.
Fourth place went to Egypt 295,7 million. what more than in January-April 2013 1.8 times and amounted to 8.6% of regional volume.
Delivery outside Ukraine of ferrous metals decreased in comparison with January-April of the previous year by 1.1%., making for 4 months. 2014 2259,3 million dollars. or 65.6% of regional exports.
The weighted average price per ton of exported enterprises of ferrous metals in January-April 2014 amounted to 473 USD that's less than the average prices in January-April of the previous year by 5.2%.
In addition to ferrous metals, decreased for January-April 2014 compared to the same period of the previous year foreign currency earnings from coal exports by 0.4%, finished food products 16.3%, coke 46.5%, machinery 2.4 times, of ferrous metals 2.4 times, chemical products by 5.4 times.
