Ukraine on the results of metallurgical enterprises in March 2014 has reduced steel production by 7.7% compared to March 2013 year to 2.65 million tonnes, remaining at 10th place in the ranking of 65 countries-the basic world manufacturers of this production, compiled by the world Association of steel producers (Worldsteel).
The top ten countries producing steel by the end of February as follows: China (70,3 million tons, a rise of 2.2%), Japan (9.7 million tons, an increase of 2.9%), USA (7.4 million tonnes, a growth of 0.9%), India (6,280 million tons, falling by 3.2%), Russia (6.0 million tonnes, an increase of 1.3%), South Korea (6.1 million tonnes, an increase of 6.2%), Germany (4 million tons, a growth of 6.1%), Turkey (2.8 million tonnes, a decline of 4.3%), Brazil (2.89 million tons, an increase of 1.5%) and Ukraine (2.7 million tons, falling 7.7%).
In General, over the three months of 2014, 65 countries have produced 405,68 million tons of steel, which is 2.5% more than three months in 2013.
