Organizers of the exhibition "Recycling and waste management" (RWM) and Futuresource – Certified Institute of waste management (CIWM), the environmental services Association and Emap, the company signed an agreement to merge them into one.
It is planned that the event, dubbed "the RWM and CIWM in partnership" will take place on September 13-15 in Birmingham (UK).
As the Executive Director of the Certified Institute of waste management Steve Lee, the industry has long needed a single major exhibition, the emergence of which contributed to the current economic climate. "We believe that we have reached an agreement that will meet the needs of our customers and members of the Institute, and plan to actively participate in future joint exhibitions, says Steve Lee. – I hope that our cooperation will help us to organize a world-class event".
Speaking on behalf of the Association of environmental services, its Chairman Ian Goodfellow said: "We congratulate CIWM and Emap with the beginning of a new phase of cooperation and we believe that this event will help the development of recycling of metal scrap".
