Mariupol metallurgical Ilyich iron and steel works of Metinvest Group has mastered the production of two new grades of galvanized steel strip rolled according to European standard EN 10346 (for Ukrainian consumers – DSTU EN 10346).
The programme for the expansion of the galvanized production according to foreign standards the company has established manufacturing brands DX52D and S220GD.
DX52D cold – rolled galvanized hot-rolled coil for punching and profiling. It is widely used in construction in the production of complex profiles, as well as in mechanical engineering and the automotive industry for the manufacture of body components and housings, automotive components.
Galvanized steel is brand S220GD used in the construction industry in the manufacture of roll-formed profiles for light thin-walled steel structures. These designs are used in the construction and reconstruction of residential, industrial, retail and warehouse facilities (load-bearing sheets, purlins, etc.).
Rental brands DX52D and S220GD available in rolls in thickness of 0.4-1.6 mm width 1000-1250 mm. the First commercial batches of new products already shipped to customers in Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Until recently, in the domestic market was imported counterparts, mainly from Russia and China.
