The leadership of the Dnieper state-owned enterprises for the processing of scrap and waste was taken for recycling scrapped metal products with gold, silver, copper and palladium", the report said.
According to the SBU, the company's laboratory determined a low volume of extraction of precious and non-ferrous metals, then the waste went to recycling in the commercial structure of the town of Pokrovsk (formerly Krasnoarmeysk) in Donetsk region.
"There Delco processed scrap metal and returned to the state significantly underestimated the percentage of precious and non-ferrous metals. Illegal income resulting from the inclusion in financially-economic documentation about the data that were available to owners of commercial structures and distributed among the participants in a criminal transaction. According to preliminary calculations, the attackers managed to inflict damage to the state for more than 10 million UAH", said the Agency.
It is noted that the SBU, prosecutors and police conducted simultaneous searches on involved in the illegal scheme companies of the Dnieper and the town of Pokrovsk.
The result was confiscated more than 380 kg of precious metals worth up to 6 million UAH, more than 10 tons of non-ferrous metals worth more than 1 million UAH, several tons of metal raw materials, means of secret removal of information, weapons and financial-economic documentation.
Open criminal proceedings under part 4 of article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
