In December 2012 imports of stainless scrap in Taiwan have increased by 15,000 MT to the same period last year and amounted to t 16999 the average price fell to $148,68 to $1675,15 per ton.
The main importers of stainless steel scrap to the country in December 2012 were the USA (4952 t), Vietnam (2340 MT), Japan (1905 MT), Thailand (1156 MT), Mexico (1063 MT). During the period from January to December 2012, imports amounted to 290 thousand tons.
Export stainless steel scrap from Taiwan in December 2012 increased by 36% compared to the same period last year to 2445 tonnes in Kazakhstan were exported 664 billion tons of raw materials in India – 569 tons, in Japan – 490 t in China – 299 T. the Volume of exports from January to December amounted to 60 thousand tons.
