The Cabinet of Ministers established an interdepartmental Commission to study problems connected with the activities of EAF enterprises, headed by first Vice Prime Minister Valeriy Khoroshkovsky. This is stated in the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 877 of September 19.
Vice-Chairman, was appointed Chairman of the State Agency on property Dmitriy Kolesnikov and Chairman of the National Commission of regulation of power industry Sergey Titenko.
In addition, the Cabinet approved the regulations on the interdepartmental Commission and requested the Chairman of the Commission until October 1 to prepare, in the prescribed manner for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers a draft Memorandum of understanding between the government and electric companies.
Recall, the Cabinet intends to make decisions on settling the situation in the electrometallurgical industry no later than October 15.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said earlier that if on electrometallurgical enterprises owners will not be fulfilled investment obligations, it will be initiated by the issue of the return of state-owned enterprises.
On September 18 the Chairman of the state property Fund Alexander Ryabchenko said that the government intends to establish a working group to resolve the situation in electrometallurgy headed inter.
